has begun, on 1st November, one of the most epic challenges that Man have arisen in recent times. With the fund name " Running the Sahara", the challenge is it even cross the Sahara Desert, connecting the western end to the extreme northeast of the African continent. It is a colossal challenge, specifically it is a link of 4,000 km, crossing the inhospitable Sahara desert, one of the most extreme of the planet, with extreme temperature of 40 ° (can this time of year registering temperatures -15 ° overnight and +30 ° during the day). Apart from crossing the desert, the biggest challenge is the very distance traveled, 4,000 miles, in just 80 days, the route which will be performed by three athletes - Charlie Engle (USA), Ray Zahab (Canada) and Kevin Lin (Taiwan) - which will go through six different countries. Apart from the challenge itself, this epic, with sponsorship from National Geographic , also has a great social commitment as a warning to survive extreme conditions in which most of the Africans.
